【Our read】

1. From 3 to 10 projects in under a year, with US and Chinese labs donating, neutral hosting is becoming the default anti-lock-in move—not PR.

2. Agent Skills follows the MCP path (ship, then donate). Unlike MCP, skills can ship executable scripts; security guidance is still only on the roadmap—awkward after LiteLLM's supply-chain hit (e/1037). Open Responses aims to unify message/tool/stream schemas; uptake depends on Anthropic/Google implementing it.

3. Portable SKILL.md across Cursor/Codex/Copilot nears a de facto standard; enterprises will ask whether agent skills sit under AAIF. Alibaba OpenSandbox shows Chinese infra will join the same table.
